689BT scan tool newly adds ECU Coding The advanced coding function is used to re-flash the vehicle control modules, which allows you to update the computer software on the vehicle to the latest version, as well as to reprogram adaptive data for certain components after making repairs or replacements, providing solutions for the issues of drivability, fuel efficiency, power loss, fault codes, durability of mechanical parts etc. But please note, ecu coding are NOT universal for all vehicles, please check compatibility with VIN number before purchase.
You can modify the adaptive data for vehicle control modules, after repairs or replacements of vehicle parts including power window, illuminated entry, warning, light control, slide roof, air conditioner, and more.
ECU Coding: Helps re-flash the vehicle control modules, it allows you to reprogram adaptive data for certain components after making repairs or replacements.
After we replace ECU modules, defective units, or certain parts we need to do the coding to make the replaced parts being stored and recognized by the ECU. 1. ABS Bleeding: Help exhaust the air.
2. AdBlue Reset(Diesel Engine Exhaust Gas Filter): Reset urea after the diesel exhaust treatment fluid is replaced or filled up.
3. Adaptive Front Lighting (AFS Headlamp Reset): Initialize the adaptive headlamp system.
4. Air / Fuel reset: Set or learn Air/Fuel ratio parameters.
